PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a striking device for a hammering sound test of concrete capable of reducing the power of a rotational driving device for driving a camshaft and the number of hammers. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a lever 4 whose middle part is journaled through a spindle 3 planted on a base plate, a hammer 5 mounted on one end of the lever, whose body 5c is projected from a part of the periphery of the base plate, a lever projecting rod 9 whose base end is supported movably on a bracket 8 erected on the base plate, and whose tip can abut on one end of the lever by reciprocating in a prescribed range on a required tangent of a rotation track of one end of the lever, a compression coil spring 15 interposed between the tip part of the rod and the bracket, a plate cam 17 comprising two or more half-discoid segments 17a stuck eccentrically respectively on the cam shaft 16 journaled on the base plate to enable energy storage and instantaneous energy discharge of the spring, and capable of abutting on the other end of the lever, and the rotational driving device 18 for driving the cam shaft.
