PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a sink at the rib corresponding part of a resin molded article having a metal plate embedded therein as an insert member and having a rib provided to the back surface thereof in a protruded state. SOLUTION: Cut and raised piece parts 6 are preformed to the metal plate 2 being the insert member along with communication holes 8 at the parts corresponding to the ribs 4 of the resin molded article. The resin layer 5, in which the metal plate 2 is embedded, of the general part of the resin molded article and the ribs 4 on the back surface side of the resin molded article are mutually connected through the communication holes 8. The concrete shape of each cut and raised piece part 6 is set to a shape obliquely bent using the inner corner part of the root part of each rib 4 and an increase in the wall thickness at the root part of the rib 4 is avoided to prevent the occurrence of a sink.
