PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance heat dissipating capacity of a recording head while reducing the cost. SOLUTION: In a recorder for recording an image on a sheet by means of a recording head 18 carried on a carriage 19 traveling while being guided by a carriage guide shaft 24, the carriage is made of resin and heat of the recording head is transmitted through a heat transmission bridge 47 to the metallic carriage guide shaft.
