PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray coating method of a liquid (treating liquid, chemical or the like) to a running body without flinging up the sprayed coating liquid as much as possible even in a super high speed paper machine or the like. SOLUTION: In the spray coating method of liquid onto the running body R, a gas flow 4 is jetted from a nozzle 3 to the liquid 2 sprayed from another nozzle 1 and the sprayed liquid is carried on the gas flow 4 to be sprayed and imparted on the running body R.
