1. A valve, comprising:
a valve sleeve having at least a first port and a second port; a pressure-compensated valve tappet that is movable between a closed position and at least one open position, the valve tappet comprising a first part and a second part; and a channel extending through the valve sleeve between opposing end faces of the first part and the second part; wherein the first part and the second part are configured to move relative to one another and to be acted upon relative to one another by a hydrostatic pressure present at the first port; wherein the first part is a closing element that seals at a valve seat in a closed position and the second part is a transfer pin that holds the closing element away from the valve seat in a first closed position; and wherein the channel is separate from the valve tappet and embodies a pressure-compensated fluidic connection between the two opposing end faces of the valve tappet.
