PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight impact-absorbing fiber rope excellent in strength and an impact absorbing property and a lightweight safety belt capable of remarkably reducing damage which a worker receives by dropping impact load. SOLUTION: The impact-absorbing fiber rope is obtained by twisting synthetic fibers of a polyamide, together and uses a fiber having a hollow cross section, preferably the hollow cross section having four holes, having nearly cross type crosslinking part in the center part.
