PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin disk unit in which no inclination is caused between a head slider and a recording medium due to energizing force applied to a limited region from the head slider or due to disturbance, thereby no deviation of a track is caused even by high density recording. SOLUTION: This disk unit is equipped with the rotatably supported recording medium 5, a spindle motor 6 for rotating the recording medium 5, the head slider 1 mounted with a head for reading and/or writing information from and/or to the recording medium 5, and a bearing slider 15 for generating a positive pressure in a space between the medium 5 and itself when the medium 5 rotates, disposed on a side opposite to the side where the head slider 1 is placed, with the medium 5 as a reference.
