DYNAMO-ELECTRIC MACHINE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator which can avoid reduction of an area of a cooling path which is caused by resin leakage when the cooling path is formed. SOLUTION: In a dynamo-electric machine, an opening 41 of a slot 25 is closed by a plate 40 and a resin layer 14 to form a coolant path 29 in the slot 25. Movement of the plate 40 in a direction toward an inside of the slot 25 is restricted by a stopper 27 when the resin is cast. The plate 40 is placed near the opening of the slot 25 and a resin casting mold 61 provided so as to be brought into contact with tip surfaces of teeth 23. Shapes of the tips of the plate 40 and the teeth 23 are predetermined so as to make a cross-sectional area of a resin-filled space B3 larger than a cross-sectional area of non- filled spaces B1 and B2 in that state before the resin is not cast.
