PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a normal opposite prism device capable of accurately carrying out surveying by opposing a reflective prism or the like normal to a total station, a rangefinder or the like. SOLUTION: A portion of a pole is cut off so as to enable to collimate the hip of the normal opposite prism device, and its sectional structure is made up so as to come into contact with the horizontal axis 7 and the vertical axis 6. An intersection point of the horizontal axis to which the normal opposite prism device is fixed and the vertical axis of the pole is exposed, and a telescope is fixed so that the telescope collimates the hip of the normal opposite prism device. A mark is formed on a surface of the normal opposite prism device in order to make the collimation axis coincide with the axis of the normal opposite prism device. Furthermore, in preparation for the obstruction of view, a structure capable of sliding up and down is provided. Therefore, the operating method of the surveying equipment is upgraded, and the accuracy and efficiency are significantly improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
