The present invention relates to a connection element for an assembly type furniture and the assembly type furniture using the same connection element. The connection element including a pole connection element and a cross connection element is configured. The pole connection element is formed in a cylindrical shape, and has a number of insertion grooves which are formed along a circumference and have an open side. The insertion groove has a center cross section wider than an outer cross section. The cross connection element is configured to integrate a main body forming a mounting groove and an insertion protrusion of a cross section corresponding to the insertion groove of the pole connection element in a body. The connection element, a vertical rod and a horizontal rod of a rod structure and a disc type plate are prepared. The pole connection element is assembled to an upper part of the vertical rod. The horizontal rod is mounted and fixed to the mounting groove of the cross connection element. The vertical rod and the horizontal rod are connected by mounting and inserting the insertion protrusion of the cross connection element into the insertion groove of the pole connection element. The plate is located on the upper part of the horizontal rod and the pole connection element, to configure the assembly type furniture like a desk, a work table, a chair and a dining table. The connection element is easy to be assembled or disassembled, and the assembly type furniture in various structures can be assembled in accordance with an angle at which the cross connection element is combined to the pole connection element. By a structure that the insertion protrusion of the cross connection element is mounted by being inserted into the insertion hole of the pole connection element, shaking is prevented, and the connection element has excellent stability and durability. |
