<p>A replicating part (11) replicates inputted bit sequences. A 16 QAM part (121) modulates the original bit sequences into symbols, while a 16 QAM part (122) modulates the replicated bit sequences into symbols. An S/P part (13) converts the series-inputted symbol sequences into parallel ones, while an S/P part (14) converts the series-inputted symbol sequences into parallel ones. An IFFT part (15) provides IFFT processings to the inputted symbol sequences. Since each of the same bits replicated by the replicating part (11) is included in the different symbols, the IFFT processings cause each of the same bits to be assigned to each of a plurality of subcarriers having different frequencies. As a result, there are produced multi-carrier signals having different frequencies and including the same bits.</p> |
