Apparatus for making melt-blown products comprises a nozzle (1) which produces the filaments (3) and a moving wire (5) on which the product is laid down. The wire has a main section (8) below the nozzle and additional sections (6, 7, 9). Different amounts of vacuum can be applied to the sections.
