<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent twist and diagonal feeding of a transfer paper, paper stuffing, etc., by engaging a paper feeding unit in a closed condition to an image forming device body and a part on the proximal side of the paper feeding unit without leaving any clearance therebetween, and regulating the position in the vertical direction on the proximal side of the paper feeding unit to the image forming device body. SOLUTION: The relationship between the width A of a supporting member 402 of a unit vertical position regulating member 400 and the width B of a recessed part 401 is A<B, and the difference is set as small as possible. When a paper feeding unit 100 is closed, the play in the engagement of the recessed part 401 with the supporting member 402 is reduced, and the twisting of the paper feeding unit 100 due to the self weight of the paper feeding unit 100 in the unit closed condition and the weight of the transfer paper 1 is eliminated. Generation of diagonal feeding of the transfer paper 1 due to the deteriorated balance of the pressures before and behind conveying rollers 201, 301, jamming of the transfer paper due to reduction of the gap of a lower side transfer paper passage, mis-detection of a paper sensor due to expansion of an upper side transfer paper passage, etc., can be prevented.</p> |
