A method is described for the cultivation of transgenic plants for lycopene cyclase characterized by temperature conditions ranging from 10 °C to 25 °C and the presence of continuous light. The method allows the content of total carotenoids and beta-carotene to be increased in fruit and provides plants with a greater resistance to abiotic stress, in particular hydric stress. |
