<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin sheet suitable for an optical sheet, reduced in thickness irregularity, almost free from appearance defectiveness such as wrinkles, undulation or the like and excellent in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin sheet has a process for transfering the sheetlike molten thermoplastic resin extruded from an extruder while successively bringing the same into contact with the surfaces of first, second and third rolls or a process for passing the sheetlike molten thermoplastic resin extruded from the extruder through the gap between the first and second rolls to obtain the rolled sheetlike molten thermoplastic resin and a process for transferring the rolled sheetlike molten thermoplastic resin while successively bringing the same into contact with the surfaces of the second and third rolls as it is. In this manufacturing method, the temperature TR<SB>3</SB>(°C) of the third roll is controlled so as to satisfy the relation represented by the inequality (I): TS-10°C≤TR<SB>3</SB>≤TS+10°C with respect to the temperature TS(°C) of the sheetlike thermoplastic resin at the point of time of contact with the third roll. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
