MULTI-FUNCTIONAL NATURAL DRUG EXTRACT AND COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME

PURPOSE: A natural drug extract with a multifunctionality such as antioxidant activity, free radical scavenging activity, tyrosinase inhibiting activity, lipid peroxide preventing activity, antimicrobial activity and cell regenerating activity is provided. Therefore, the extract can be used in preparing a functional cosmetic useful for preventing skin aging, whitening and regenerating the skin and providing antimicrobial properties. CONSTITUTION: Based on 100 parts by weight of water, 0.1 to 20 parts by weight of Rhei Rhizoma, 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of Coicis Semen, 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of Cervi cornu, 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of Angelicae Dahuricae Radix and 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of Caulis Lonicerae are mixed, heated at 70 to 100deg.C for 2 to 8hr and then concentrated under reduced pressure after filtering. A cosmetic composition contains 0.1 to 50% by weight of the natural drug extract.
