The conveyor unit (1) for a conveyor line for transporting flat, coated component parts has at least one roller (3) installed in a first overpressure chamber (7). A part of the circumference of the roller by means of a slot (10) in one sidewall (9) of the chamber protrudes beyond its upper surface and forms the bearing surface for the coated component. The roller is blown over by air over its longitudinal extent parallel to the rotational axis by means of at least one nozzle (14) inside the first pressure chamber, with the air being directed to the nozzles via a second pressure chamber (8).
