A call number (CN) is entered to set up a telephone connection (TC) (6) from a mobile telephone (1) to a radio telephone exchange (2) . A service control point (SCP) (3) in an intelligent network (8) identifies the CN as a CN assigned to a selected wireless application protocol address. The SCP sets up the TC. A wireless application protocol (WAP) gateway (4) calls up Internet pages (5) with a selected WAP address. The opening page goes to a WAP browser on the mobile telephone. An Independent claim is also included for a server for carrying out the method of the present invention.
