PURPOSE: A light source device for a liquid crystal display is provided to prevent power source supplied to a lamp from leaking between a plurality of lamp wires by separating the plurality of lamp wires. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of lamps(321,322) generate beams. A power source supply element supplies power source to the lamps. A plurality of lamp wires(321d,321e,322d,322e) electrically connect the lamps with the power source supply element for providing the power source to the lamps. A wire fixing element(325), which is a shrinking tube formed of an insulating material, has a plurality of insertion holes separated from each other at predetermined distances and contains the plurality of lamp wires to be separated from each other through the plurality of insertion holes. The shrinking tube is shrunken by external heat for combining the plurality of lamp wires contained in the plurality of insertion holes, and insulates the plurality of lamp wires.
