PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric odometer apparatus capable of easily and speedily taking an odometer display after replacement as an integrated travel distance immediately after replacement when a meter unit is replaced. SOLUTION: The electric odometer apparatus comprises a distance rewriting mode for allowing a change in the display of the integrated travel distance and is capable of setting the distance rewriting mode, by impressing or grounding an appropriate voltage on a mode changeover terminal T<SB>1</SB>. In the distance rewriting mode, it is possible to speedily rewrite the integrated travel distance by operating a trip knob 48 or inputting a high-speed vehicle speed pulse to a vehicle speed input terminal T<SB>2</SB>.
