CLEANER AND METHOD FOR CLEANING PANEL OF COLOR CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: A cleaner and a method are provided to prevent an aging of the cleaner and environmental contamination, while reducing costs and preventing a corrosion of the panel. CONSTITUTION: A cleaner contains an acid solution and a surface active agent. The acid solution is one or more of ammonium fluoride(202) and sodium fluoride(204). A method for cleaning a panel of a color cathode ray tube comprises a step of mixing a cleaner and a pure water at a predetermined concentration; a step of applying the cleaner, and removing a metal reflective film after elapse of a predetermined time; a step of removing an intermediate film of an ineffective surface by using an intermediate film removing cleaner; a step of removing a residual article and a metal reflective film of an effective surface; a step of removing a graphite film and a phosphor screen of the effective and ineffective surfaces by applying the mixture of cleaner; and a step of rinsing the resultant structure by using a water.
