FIELD: electrical energy production, conversion, and distribution. SUBSTANCE: transformer substation has switchgear installation in the form of line-transformer cubicle accommodating first load switch, line connector with load switch having ground electrode and fuse, and transformer connector having disconnecting switch. Roof is attached to framework by means of threaded joint. Mounted in cubicle opposite to first load switch is second load switch identical to first one. Upper contacts of load switches are connected through connecting buses. High voltage is applied to their lower contacts through fuses and ground electrode and over mentioned connector, to high-voltage contacts of transformer. When substation runs on stand-by power supply, one of load switches is turned off. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, simplified design, facilitated maintenance. 1 cl, 3 dwg
