PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of accurately changing control characteristics of a vehicle with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This vehicle control device is provided with a sensor 4 mounted to each wheel 2 to detect the air pressure of the wheel and an acceleration applied to the wheel, air pressure warning devices 20, 34 to determine the air pressure of each wheel based on a signal regarding the air pressure from the sensor, and to issue a warning when the air pressure in any one of the wheels deviates from a prescribed range, and a control characteristics changing means 28 to change the control characteristics of the vehicle based on a signal regarding the acceleration from the sensor.
