PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent heat storage device which increases heat storage characteristics and radiation characteristics. SOLUTION: An exhaust heat hot water inlet 15 and an exhaust heat hot water outlet 16 for connecting an exhaust heat recovery circuit 12 to circulate exhaust heat hot water are provided at the diagonal positions of a box type heat storage tank 13. Plate-like heat storage containers 14 filled with latent heat storage material are disposed in the heat storage tank 13 displaceably from each other at specified intervals so that hot water can be cut out between the exhaust heat hot water inlet 15 and the exhaust heat hot water outlet 16. By this, the exhaust heat hot water flows zigzag in the heat storage tank 13 along the heat storage containers 14. Then a supplied hot water circulating passage 17 allowing supplied hot water to flow therein is provided along the heat storage containers 14 so that the supplied hot water can be heated in the heat storage tank 13.
