METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FORMING IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an image and an image forming device so as to provide an electrophotographic image with sufficiently high picture quality even when a toner having a controlled shape factor and distribution of the grain size and having a decreased particle size is used.

SOLUTION: The method for forming an image is carried out by developing a latent image formed on the following electrophotographic photoreceptor with a developer which uses a toner having≤16% coefficient of variation in the shape factor of the toner particles. The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a surface layer containing a binder resin and a polymer produced from a compound having a polymerizable functional group.
