PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a zeolite based compounding additive for a resin, excellent in the combination of antiblocking properties and transparency, and a resin composition having the compounding additive incorporated therein. SOLUTION: The compounding additive for the resin comprises a composite of aluminosilicate particles having a structure of particles with a determinate shape and an X-ray diffraction pattern characteristic of a zeolite, with fine particles of an active amorphous silicic acid or silicate deposited on the surfaces of the aluminosilicate particles.
