<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing apparatus unit capable of efficiently decomposing an odor component in the air by prolonging a contact time between the air to be treated and a photocatalyst and making irregular reflection of light between fins efficient. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorizing apparatus unit U comprises a unit body 1, a unit face 2, many arranged fins 7 and 7a the surfaces of which are seized with titanium oxide, an ultraviolet lamp 81 for radiating light to the fins 7 and 7a, and a fan device 4 for communicating the air inside it and discharging the air to the outside. Ventilation parts 74, 72, and 73 positioned mutually on the opposite sides are provided between end edges of the fins 7 and 7a and the inner surface of the unit case 2. The sucked air flows through the ventilation parts 74, 72, and 73, changes directions mutually, communicates along the fins 7 and 7a, and is discharged from an exhaust port 42 to the outside of the case. Both ends of the fins 7 and 7a have each a tilting part 75 formed at an obtuse angle for aiding the irregular reflection of radiated light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
