PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating chamber provided with an air cleaner capable of improving a cleanliness level of the coating chamber without occurring a coating defect on a coating surface, forming the most suitable coating environment in accordance with a coating condition and the kind of a product. SOLUTION: In the air cleaner of the coating chamber 20, air is blown out from a fan filter unit 42 provided on the ceiling face 12 of the coating chamber 20 to the coating chamber 20 by a down flow, suction ports 66 formed on the floor face 14 of the coating chamber 20 are formed at three places such as before and both sides of a coating coater 18 seen from a traveling direction of a web 48, and the wind velocities of the air blown out from the fan filter units 42 are individually controlled.
