<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone capable of quickly and highly exactly certifying a user himself or herself and a judgement system using the portable telephone. <P>SOLUTION: This portable telephone having an imaging means for generating image data by photographing a subject is provided with an authentication mode selecting means for accepting an input for authentication, an image data converting means for converting image data photographed by the photographing means into binary one-dimensional information when the input for authentication is accepted by the authentication mode selecting means, a registering means for preserving the preliminarily registered binary one-dimensional information for authentication, and an authenticating means for authenticating the fact that the subject photographed by the photographing means is the user himself or herself when the binary one-dimensional information generated by the image data converting means is compared with the binary one-dimensional information preserved in the registering means, and it is judged that those information is made coincident with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
