PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holographic disk recording system which can suppress a variation in hologram reconstruction intensity with simple and inexpensive constitution. SOLUTION: The holographic disk recording system for recording the information on a source disk 50 in the form of holograms on a target disk 60 shapes a reference wave beam 26 to a conical beam having substantially cylindrical symmetricalness consisting of the rays advancing along a straight line passing the beam axis and having substantially the same angle of inclination with respect to the beam axis by using a conical beam shaper 70. The conical beam is made incident on the target disk by substantially aligning the beam axis of the conical beam and the axis of the target disk, by which substantially all of the rays of the conical beam are made incident on the target disk at substantially the same incident angle.
