<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction of the number of components and miniaturization of a device. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a light emitting element 11, a rise mirror 12 which has a main body part 17 including a slope 17a inclined by a specified angle with respect to an optical axis of laser beams emitted from the light emitting element and a mirror part 18 arranged on this slope to make at least a part of the laser beams reflect and face to a disk-like recording medium 100, and a light receiving element 15 for receiving the laser beams reflected by the disk-like recording medium, then an output control means 19 is provided on the rise mirror for receiving a part of the laser beams emitted from the light emitting element and also detecting an output of the laser beams to control the output of the received laser beams in accordance with the result of this detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
