<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery advance notice system capable of performing a delivery advance notice to a receiver without information a delivery firm of a receiver's communication address. <P>SOLUTION: Previously a receiver and a service provider used by the receiver are registered with a correspondence between them in a service provider database. A central unit 1 receives information about the delivered goods, retrieves the service provider database for the receiver's service provider, and generates delivery advance notice information according to the information about the delivered goods. The central unit 1 transmits the generated delivery advance notice information with the information on the receiver to a server computer 2 of the retrieved service provider.
