PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent e-mails with the same contents from being double-preserved in a WWW mail server when the e-mail received by a mail server to be used from a PC is set to be transferred to a WWW mail server to be used from a portable WWW browser. SOLUTION: An e-mail processing system judges whether the received e-mail is the one transmitted from the WWW browser or not. When determined not to be the one from the WWW browser, the e-mail is transferred to the second mail server. When decided to be the one from the WWW browser, control is performed not to transfer the e-mail to the second mail server. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
