<p>An surface acoustic wave device includes a plurality of surface acoustic wave elements formed on a piezoelectric substrate and electrically open from one another, a basic substrate having a first conductor for electrically connecting the plurality of the surface acoustic wave elements, a second conductor electrically open from the first conductor, and an external terminal formed on the basic substrate, and a seal member for protecting the basic substrate and the piezoelectric substrate. The basic substrate is a package having a concave portion or an insulation substrate. The first conductor is electrically open from the external terminal. Moreover, the second conductor is electrically connected to the external terminal. Thus, it is possible to provide a small-size surface acoustic wave device having excellent attenuation characteristic.</p> |
