<p>The invention relates to a device for transmitting modulated optical signals between a first unit and a second unit, whereby the first unit is mounted in a manner that permits it to rotate in relation to the second unit. The device comprises an optical waveguide extending along a circular path on the first unit, a first optical coupler for injecting or extracting light into/out of the optical waveguide and has a second optical coupler for injecting or extracting light into/out of the optical waveguide, which is placed on the second unit and can move in relation to the means for conducting light. A position control of the coupling elements with regard to the optical waveguide or a hydrodynamic bearing is provided in order to obtain a high transmission quality.</p> |
