A power of binder for preventing desertification, which is a mixture comprising : solid asphalt powder and colophony powder, tall oil powder, the colophony powder or the tal oil powder is from 0.5 &tilde& 20% (weight) of the solid asphalt powder. The colophony powder is preferablely 2% (weight) of the solid asphalt powder. The binder is also mixed to sand according to the weight ratio 0.01 &tilde& 0.30 : 1.
