An implosion power plant that operates with water vapor has water vapor (1) fed into the top of a tower (15) in regulated manner, a water spray device (2) just below the cover and a several centimeter thick separating layer (5) floating at the water level, preferably of wood or plastic with a surface recess opening into a vertical pipe connected to a flexible, isolated line (6) leading down out of the tower to pass some condensed water vapor to a storage container (8). The rest of the condensed water can be fed via a heat exchanger (4) to a storage container (3) for the spray device.
