The fastening system has a vacuum unit to create a temporary suction inside the winding cylinder (3) of a paper roller cutting and winding machine. The cylinder has perforated walls, forming suction holes that can be connected selectively to the vacuum unit by means of a push-in connector on the end of the roller. It can also be connected to an air pressure unit to facilitate the positioning of sleeves on the roller.
