A hose system (5) is connected to a catheter (1) to supply and extract a peritoneal solution from the peritoneum cavity using a pump (26) . Fresh solution is supplied from a container (15) and the extracted solution is delivered to a dialyzer. A system of valves (18,19,23,24) is controlled by a controller (27) so that both when supplying and extracting the solution the flow through the pump is always in the same direction
