<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed capable of easily ensuring and removing a place for small articles on the side of a bed body. <P>SOLUTION: This bed comprises the bed body 1, a floor board 5 provided on the bed body to place a mattress 8 on a surface thereof, and a head board 5 provided on one longitudinal end of the bed body. At least the part of the floor board, which is located on the one longitudinal side of the bed body, is formed of a fixed plate member 11 stationarily provided on the bed body and having a lateral dimension set smaller than that of the bed body and a movable plate member 12 provided on at least one lateral end part of the fixed plate member to be slidable along the lateral direction of the bed body and protruded outward from one lateral side of the bed body by being slid laterally outward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
