PURPOSE: To obtain expandable rubber-modified styrene resin particles suitable for a molded foam excellent in impact resistance and flexibility. CONSTITUTION: Expandable rubber-modified styrene resin particles are obtd. by incorporating 1-20wt.% blowing agent into a rubber-modified styrene resin which comprises a styrene resin having a z-average mol.wt. of 350,000 or higher and 8-15wt.% butadiene rubber having 70% or higher 1,4-cis structural units and dispersed in the form of fine particles with an average particle size of 1.5-3.0μm and which contains 3.0wt.% or lower mineral oil. |
