PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel driving circuit capable of suppressing the power consumption (generation of heat) and also capable of suppressing the increasing of the cost and a display device using this display panel driving circuit. SOLUTION: In this patent, a display panel driving circuit which has a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes which are connected to a display panel and a first driving circuit for driving the first electrodes and a second driving circuit for driving the second electrodes is provided. The second driving circuit raises output impedance by being connected in order to drive entire electrodes of the plurality of the second electrodes or a part of the plurality of second electrodes or by being interrupted from the connection with the second electrodes.
