PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make both image information and character information displayed to be easily visible without complicating a user interface concerned in each display control, when providing broadcast service comprising mainly the image information and broadcast service comprising mainly the character information at the same time. SOLUTION: This broadcast information displaying system 100 is provided with a decoding means 13, two input means 32, 52, two display means 33, 53 and a control means 11. The control means 11 controls the image information VD to be transferred to the one display means 33 when an operation command VARQ concerned in selection of the broadcast service for providing the image information from the one input means 32 to the decoding means 13, and controls the character information CD to be transferred to the other display means 53 when an operation command CRQ concerned in selection of the broadcast service for providing the character information from the other input means 52.
