PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed type thrust ball bearing used for a strut type suspension wherein rocking or oscillation by the disturbance from a tire side is reduced, oscillation transmitted to a handle is attenuated, and a steering feeling is excellent. SOLUTION: This sealed type thrust ball bearing comprises an appropriate number of balls 3 arranged and rolling in a space 4 between raceway surfaces of an annular first race 1 and a second race 2, and seal members 5, 6 sealing the gap between inner and outer peripheral parts of the races. A polymer lubricant 7 prepared by mixing a polymer and a lubricating oil, melting and solidifying is filled in a space 4 between the raceway surfaces. The oscillation or rocking which is a disturbance from a tire side is reduced with the polymer lubricant 7. Moreover, good feeling is obtained in steering. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
