PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge in which a label surface of a disk is exposed, a cartridge main body storing the disk is thin, to inconstant movement of the disk in a disk storage state is eliminated, and dust is prevented from sticking on the disk. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge comprises a disk storage part 10d which stores the disk 100 in a rotatable state so that a 1st surface of the disk is exposed to the outside, the cartridge main body including a chucking opening part 11c and a head opening part 11h, shutters 21 and 22 which are so supported on the cartridge main body as to open and close the chucking opening part 11c and head opening part 11h and have holes 21h and 22h in an area corresponding to the center hole of the disk in a closure state, and disk holding parts 21a, 21b, 22a and 22b which press and hold the disk 100 when the shutters close the chucking opening part 11c and the head opening part 11h.
