The damper consists of a portion (A) of the line (1) that is wound in a spiral and covered with an elastically-deformable material (2) in the form of a sleeve (B). The line is wound round a core, preferably tubular in shape, and of an elastically deformable material and then covered with a molded layer of the same material. When a sudden tension is applied to the line the spiral tends to extend and the sleeve stretches at the same time.
