<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a powder material canister so as to stably maintain a fixed quantity feeding of material, by holding down the fluctuation in the feeding quantity of the material, which is discharged from the canister by screw conveyance. <P>SOLUTION: In this powder material canister, a screw 3 is built in the trough 2 of a material case 1 leading to a discharge port, so that the powder material 8 is discharged by the rotational feeding action of the screw 3. Rib-like projections 2a are formed extending in the longitudinal direction as resistive parts, on the inner peripheral surface of the trough facing the blade rims of the screw 3 across a clearance g, along the discharging path of the powder material 8. Accordingly, the corotation of the powder material in the direction of the screw rotation is deterred with the projections serving as resistance against the powder material 8 filling the space between the screw 3 and the trough 2, and as a result the screw conveyance of the material 8 becomes stabilized, considerably reducing the fluctuation in the feeding quantity of the material 8 discharged from the canister by one action, as compared to the past. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
