<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for writing data bits to a memory cell without requiring an additional power source. <P>SOLUTION: The method is for writing data bits to a memory cell (325). In one method embodiment, first input is received. This cause an application of high power, via a sense line (302, 303), to an addressed bit (320) in the memory array (325) and causes write operation to be applied to the addressed bit. Second input is received. This cause an application of low power, via the sense lines (302, 303), to the addressed bit (320) and causes read operation on the addressed bit (320).
