<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological photometric apparatus that can easily exchange probes and has less light attenuation. <P>SOLUTION: The biological photometric apparatus has a light source section for outputting a plurality of modulation beams that are modulated to different frequencies, an optical fiber for illuminating a specimen with light from the light source section, an optical fiber for receiving light where illuminated light is transmitted through an organism or light that is reflected from the organism, and a photometric section for converting light that the optical fiber for receiving light receives to light intensity for each illumination position for obtaining biological information. The biological photometric apparatus has a single multi- conductor light connector for connecting the light source section and the photometric section, to the optical fiber for illumination and the optical fiber for receiving light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
