PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low foaming type dyeing auxiliary that assists dispersion and level-dyeing properties in the dyeing process by means of a jet dyeing machine. SOLUTION: The dyeing auxiliary comprises a mixture of an anionic surfactant including alkylene oxide adducts of which the oxide addition form and degree are restricted and one kind or two or more kinds of ester type nonionic surfactants in a certain proportion.
